I am making a menu and i have some quads(rectangles) and i want to be able to tell wether you click it or not. I am thinking of using IntersectRect and making the mouse cursor a small little rectangle. I can get wether the mouse is clicked but im not sure how to tell when the mouse is over the button. Is there a more efficient way of doing this. Thanks ! [edited by - Worthless_Knowledge on February 6, 2004 10:42:57 PM]

If you have the mouse coordinates (I''m assuming you do) simply check that the coordinate is within the rectangle. Usually the point of the cursor is the mouse position and that''s all you check for contact.

Hopefully you can figure out how to check if a point is in a rectangle; it''s not hard
