Vertex Arrays and glEnableClientState
Are glEnableClientState and glDisableClient state intended to be called once per frame when drawing vertex arrays, or once at program init and once at program deinit? The red book isn''t very clear on that point. I''d like to avoid doing it on every frame, if it is possible.

If you always intend on drawing the same parts all the time then i guess you could init once at the start and deinit at the end, however i doubt the calls are that expensive so its probably a non-issue anyways
