Note: If it is warezd, dont bother. I dont want anything illegal. I am pretty sure I have heard someone say that you can view the ebook online freely, the second edition. If there is any truth to this, could someone please link me? I cant seem to find it. Thanks.

Forget about those incomplete online tutorials. Two of the finest C++ books are actually free. Google for "Thinking in C++" volume 1 & 2.

IMHO, those books are good to DEEPEN your understanding of C++, not very good at teaching someone C++ without any previous programming experience.

Vol. 1 of Thinking in C++ teaches you good C++ from the start. Vol. 2 is the volume that deepens your knowledge of the language.

Note: When speaking about the book, I am referring to the pdf versions.

-----
Just read the preface, the author states that these books assume prior programming experience with C.

He covers conditional expressions (if else, switch, etc.), looping and recursion in the space of 10 pages. Now for someone who has doesn't have ANY prior programming experience, much more attention needs to be given to those areas.
