Well this is what i want to do: Step 1:
###################
# #
# ############# #
# #Textfield # #
# ############# #
# #
# ######## #
# #NEXT ># #
# ######## #
# #
###################

And when the user has written some string in the text
field and clicks the next button, then the dialog changes to this:
Step 2:
###################
# #
# You typed in: #
# Text #
# #
# #
# ###### ######## #
# #Back# #Quit # #
# ###### ######## #
# #
###################
How would i do that?

Don''t ask someone to do your homework for you. Try looking up the answers yourself. You can find all the answers you want below:

An option pane will probably not do what you want. If you are using layout managers it will be easy for you. Make one manager for the first apperance and one for the second then you can swap between them.
