should be fine, although the second uses opengl it will help you make file loaders for models, though the first book is fine if you just want x files.
Thanks man, do you know where can I find built .X files in the Internet?

is there a more begginer book for me then this "Advanced animation for directX", it looks like to much for me, I think I need to know more basic animation before reading this book

am I right?

Not really. There is a reason why the skinned animation tutorial in the SDK is rated as "Advanced"! It is a difficult topic to understand. You can''t go wrong with Jims book "Advanced Animation With DirectX" though. I''m working through bits of it now. At the very least I anticipate being able to to skinned animation and animation blending from using this book.
