And I''m looking where to start. I need to make one from scratch, as the existing timeclock applications dont offer what I''m looking for. The idea is a small program that sits in the system tray on a users computer where they can record time spent on a certain project. I also want the timer to stop recording after a set period of idle time. I really like KMR Consulting''s application. I also need to give users the ability to change their own times, but I also want to be notified of such action. Even a little notation in the logs that says the time was manually edited. Thats all I can think of yet...

Allright. Now I''m looking for some help creating the database. I plan on using an XML file for each employee (we only have 7 now and a max of 30) Any thoughts on this?

Cuz I''m not a DB programmer. While that would be a cool skill to learn, I''v got other stuff going on as well that requires I use XML for the database.
