I''m making a library, and I want to send a message to the message process when the user clicks the button. i.e.: I have a message box pop up in DirectX. The user clicks yes Send DXLIB_MSG_BOX_ID_YES to WndProc. But I have to detect WM_LBUTTONDOWN without a message process. Any help would be appreciated! (Maybe there''s a better way to do this with DirectX?) /* I use DirectX 8.1 and C++ (Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Professional edition) */

you clould do it with direct input .. if you dont want to go through this, use this win32 api:

GetAsyncKeyState();
