Directx Matrices.

I look on drunken hyena and all of the matrices are defined using vectors, but in my book programming rpg''s with dx has it with matrices multiplication. Which is better or easier to use in the long run?

In Drunken Hyena''s matrix tutorials (I''m specifically looking at the World Transform one), he creates functions for matrix operations to show you how they are actually done. The D3DX library already has matrix functions that are already optimized. Use those for the long run.
