Hello guys! I''m raising an amateurish question: 1. How to do vector add (say we have v1 and v2)? 2. How to get the normal vecotr to the plane defined by v1, v2 and v3? Thanks a million! Dong

1) Depends on your vectors but the answer you probably asked for is if v1=(x1,y1,z1) and v2=(x2,y2,z2), then v1+v2 = (x1+x2, y1+y2, z1+z2).

2) now this even more depends on what v1,v2 and v3 stand for. But since you don´t even know how to add vectors there is no point guessing an telling things about the so called "vector product".
