Glass Block Effect

Hello! I want to create a Glass Block effect like in Corel PhotoPaint. What is the algorithm for this filter? I would be pleased to see some code or a detailed description. Thank you in advance.

screenshot? or can you please be more descriptive? Not all of us use Corel Photopaint.

I think render-to-texture and then pasting it onto a grid of quads (with "overlap" to create the effect) might work. Presuming you meant in real time, of course.

Dd what he says, and then have another "window texture", where that''s a normal map representing the window normals. Then look up from the normal map, and use the refract() function to do a lookup into the texture.
