other languages to use with c/c++ for gamedev

Im a c/c++ programmer and I want to experiment with other languages which may help me in future. (excluding scripting & langs like c#,Basic,java,etc) The interested languages I have heared about are LISP, Scheme, Smalltalk.other any? But there are many variations of them across web I dont know which on is for me. My env is WinXP VisualC7

Eiffel is quite interesting IMO. Design by Contract, multiple-inheritance and feature renaming are Eiffels distinctive features.
One can download a free trail version at www.eiffel.com. There is an open-source implementation too: smarteiffel.loria.fr

If you want to try something like LISP dumbed down for noobs then try ocaml. It is supposed to be pretty good.

PS. In before someone like arild filnes comes to this thread and fills it with worthless c# propagganda, BECAUSE ITS OMGOMGOMGOGMGOM NOT WORTHLEss SCRIPTING LANGUAGE BUT SECoND CoMING OF JEsus CHRIST!!
