Can DirectX 9 be used in Visual basic 6.0? Or is it only .net world

AFAIK , DX 9 has a com interface so I would imagine so ... Having said that you can program it using VB.Net if you download the framework SDK for free and get hold of #Develop the free .Net IDE

It would be theoretically possible to use DX9 with VB6, but you''d have to create a typelib. None currently exist and I wouldn''t count on one getting made.
