I have followed the following instructions:
Copy/upload all contents of the directory upload/ into the directory where you want to run your forums. Run install.php from the forum root directory through your browser.
The problem is that when i run the install.php file from the root directory, it opens up in dream weaver and all i see is the code.This isn''t what''s supposed to happen is it?
Sounds like you need to configure your webserver to support PHP.
That is, the mime-content for the pages you tried to view came up as octet-stream because they are not parsed by the PHP-plugin on the webserver.

Depends on your webserver. <a href=http://www.php.net>www.php.net</a> has guides on the subject for most webservers.
