screen gone weird

In my game the stuff near the edges are being stretched. I don''t want this to happen. What might be causeing this. I think it''s something to do with my perspective calculations.

A FOV of 45 make it looked zoomed in. but that''s probably because i''m used to it being 54. Thanks that stopped the stretching.
