Hello. Im looking for some documentation(tutorial/book) on how to implement a trigger/event handeling system in a nice way. If looked trough the articles on gamedev but the only thing i could find was a short notice on triggers in the "Enginuity" series(great serie btw). So if anyone got any links or book tips, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. [edited by - peter_b on March 6, 2004 2:01:48 PM]

Check out Boost::Signals. Basically each object in your game cam have a "slot" that binds to some external "signal", as a response to some event. So when the game world receives a signal like ACTION_TALK, or something, it will automatically notify all the game objects in the world of the action (by sending the signal to all the connected slots), so they can react appropriately.

There is some good documentation on Boost on the website.
