Well I''m having a technical interview soon and I wanted to bone up on my thinking skills by reviewing some classical programming problems...things like, how to program a card shuffling routine, or find repeating strings inside a long string. Any ideas of other problems like these? (not necessarily the solutions, just the questions for me to ponder .

Krsukal , Prim, Djkstra, ( algorithm for pathfinding in a graph )
how do you remove a recursion ? how do you optimize tree traversal ? , discuss a method for rebalancing a binary tree, and finally describe a method for implementing a flux tree ( note that this are real doctorate questions , just in case you don'' t know what a flux tree is , think about a map with a value distribuition, how do you find , constrained fluxes ? )
