I go to school where I''m enrolled in a game Design program. In our second year, we have to get into teams and make a game product. Each team has a name. One team named themselves 1337 studios, which means "Leet" studios in "leet-speak". My team name is 2D Extreme, because we''re building a 2D game, as opposed to the 3D that everyone else is doing. Its sort of a play on words.
