Testing ps2 games on emulator?
Hi, Im just wondering if theres any way to test your ps2 games on your computer in an emulator so you dont have to link your computer to your ps2.
PCSX2 is currently the most advanced ps2 emulator available. You could try using it to test with, however it is far from complete, buggy, and just generally not reliable enough to test with.
Eventually it may be an option, but IMO ps2 emulation accurate enough for testing is far enough away that it probably isn't even worth trying right now. Setting up naplink or ps2link to test your code on the PS2 is the only real choice IMO.
If you do decide to give it a try, keep in mind that it's very possible you will have unexplained bugs and your program will not look the same as it will on a PS2.
