I remember setting color using system() aka background and foreground. With tons of code crammed in my head, I forgot how to write it. Any help is appreciated.

Open a command prompt and type color /h.

Don''t use system anyway. The Win32 console functions provide access to those features in a more intrinsic way. system spawns a process and your application blocks until it is finished.
