Well, the previous thread on the GDC has veered from the the topic of the GDC itself. Just wondering how many of you are planning to go, and what conferences look interesting. I''m planning to go to the AI roundtables and lectures, of course, along with the middleware business sessions, as those are directly related to my field. But I also don''t want to miss Carmack''s speech (Thursday noon), Will Wright''s sessions, some sw engineering sessions, and sessions regarding small games (web- and handheld-based). What other conferences or exhibits look intriguing? Jim Mazrimas Technical Director LOCUST - AI middleware for games http://www.locustpower.com

Hell, with all the AI stuff on the calendar, there isn''t room for anything else. I have gone through and pulled out all the sessions that I found interesting and put them into my Outlook calendar for the week and they even double up in places. Gonna have to be some decisions on the fly that week!
