reading XML at c++

Hello, I have a simulator.txt.xml file at which I need to be able to read the commands from, like ''north''''east'' and etc., I''m using a console application at VS6 c++ which has to read those commands out of the txt.xml file and I dont know anything about COM nor about XML. I''m not leaning COM now and have no time to do so , I only need 2 functions (( Can you please help me up with this?? tell me what do I need to include/do or post fuctions so I can be able to 1) read the commands 2) reset the file to the first command I"m clue less about this and soon out of time ((( Thanks for to anyone who can help me!!

The 3 best choices in XML for VS are MSXML (but you said you didn''t want to deal with COM for now), TinyXML (good, simple, but limited -- should work for you though), and Xerces (good, full featured, but big).

The best choice of these for you is probably TinyXML, but you will have to learn a little XML.
