i need your help with tarballs
if i download a tarball from sourceforge how can i make it into readable format again.everything has a ,v even the programe is c++ source
Sounds like a CVS tarball, which means it isn''t very useful by itself. If the project doesn''t offer a source tarball, you''ll have to do a cvs checkout to get the source. I recommend ToroiseCVS, as it integrates nicely with Windows. If you''re on linux, the commandline is pretty much your only option. Time to read your Cederqvist.
