Has anyone seen any information about a Linux distribution that will work/install on an Axim X5 (I think its an ARM processor?) I have seen some for the iPaq, but nothing for the Axim X5 - but then again, I haven’t don’t a large amount of searching. Does anyone know of one? Or any information on getting Linux to work on a PDA in general? EDIT: Dogh! Axiom Axim [edited by - aftermath on March 23, 2004 7:04:31 PM]

Interestingly, I''ve been looking for one for a week, ever since I got an axim (x3i, though) for my birthday. Apparently there isn''t one, as dell doesnt'' release hardware specs (unlike compaq), so in order to make a linux distro the developers have to go through a very long and painful reverse engineering process. There is a project at handhelds.org, but it''s too unstable (they say linux crashes every 15 minutes or so) for practical use.
