I think it's been an acceptable amount of time since the last one, so put up your art! -2D! -3D! -Your game models! -Your concept art! -anything that doesn't get you banned! EDIT: oh yeah, please inform us of what program(s) you used! Alright, I'll start, here is a test render of a GameCube I made in Blender. I call it a test render because it's not finished, and probably won't get finished. This is about as far as I get with art because I get inspiration for a new picture and drop the current one I know that sucks, but I haven't figured out a way to avoid it. So, it needs a lot of work, but I hope to come back to it someday. ==================================== The worst thing about mistakes is explaining it to my wife. Nice GameCube model! It looks like you have the proper sizes on everything. Slap a texture on that and it will be even better.

I made this image about a year ago for a project that never really took off. Done in Photoshop 7 with a mouse(didn't have a tablet heheh). It was a character portrait and was only supposed to be viewed as a thumbnail. But I still like it anyway.

My next task for this project will be to make a matching male model, then hair and clothes for them both, and then I get to do monsters! I'm excited because this is the first time my art is actually being used in a game.

Edit: Oh, programs I used - well, I'll explain my drawing process actually, since it's pretty simple. I sketch with a mechanical pencil on standard computer paper, color with gel pens and crayola markers, scan with my wonderful OpticPro UT24 *hugs scanner*, and edit in Photoshop. Often there is a printing-out, redrawing, scanning in again, re-editing process in there too. I also have a lightbox which is tremendously useful for tracing and making 2-d animations.

I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.

this is a test project ive been doing for low poly meshes
the model has been converted for use in Blitz3D and is a give away for new coders to practice on

it has anim cycles, run,walk idle and jump it is my first but worked quite well i learned alot about rigging and animation

It's not that hard, just use this:

img src="address of your picture"

but you have to put < at the beginning and > at the end for it to work.
Your animation looks good, keep up the good work.

This is one of my favorites. It''s a bit old, but I''m pretty sure I haven''t posted it on gamedev before. (And no, I''m not going to stick it in an <img> tag unless someone puts a 56K warning on the thread title.) It''s actually the wallpaper version of the image, hence the funny placement of the chop in the lower right.

At it''s heart it''s three separate renders done in Poser 5. Textures were made in Gimp, then the renders were done at 6000x4000, the images composited in Gimp, and then some fairly heavy post-work was done. The whole thing was shrunk down to 1200x800 for my preferred version, and a 1024x768 crop was done for the wallpaper version. I''ve still got the monster xcf file at full resolution, and I''ve been meaning to go back and do some additional work as soon as I upgrade my computer.
