Hi all, I need to find some information on how I can take a 3D texture file with RGBa values on every pixel that is created with 3D Studio Max and read it into my C++/OpenGL code. I have looked at several ways to do this on the web, but there seems to be very little info out there on 3D textures other than just reading in a 2D texture using one of the libraries (or Cbitmap) and then warping some of the pixels in the array (to create wood grains, for instance). Does anyone have an suggestions on what books to look for, or basic directions, or could email me at admitche@unity.ncsu.edu if they have any example code they could share that does this? It wont be used in any way to make money and I will give credit where credit is due if you have any.. Thanks, Adam
