I want my games to be robust and support any range of input from any device. In oder to do this I would prefer my input module report percents along axis. The problem is I need to get the range of each axis. I am familiar with the IDirectInputDevice8::GetProperty() function and have used it, but they can only report a range lMax and lMin, is that the max and min range for ALL axes on the joystick? Is there a way to only ask the range of the X axis, Y axis, or Z axis? Is there a way to query for the "center" of the axis? Thanks for any help.
