Hi I have a school project which is to rebuild a keyboard that can allow the users to switch different languages with a user interface program. I don''t have any experience in developing device drivers. So I am wondering what tools(keyboard microprocessor, programming languages etc...)do I need to start building the keyboard. I am not sure if this is the place to ask the embeded system development question but I don''t know where else to look for help. So, any resources will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance

I know you''ll need a keyboard microcontroller and probably a working knowledge of assembly language. Check out microsoft''s hardware development section or any of the good os development sites.
