From what I understand, the name of MSVC''s make utility is nmake correct? As the readme.html in the GLFW source package states, just open a Command Prompt, go to the GLFW directory, and type nmake win32-msvc. Note that the readme also contains instructions regarding a VCVARS32.BAT file which may need to be executed if you did not set up MSVC to be executed from the command line. Execute this batch file first (as detailed in the readme file), then execute nmake. This should build the Windows .lib and .dll files.
After that, copy the .lib file into your standard .lib path, and the DLL into either the project directory or the Windows system directory, whatever blows your skirt up. Then copy the include file (glfw.h) into the directory where your OpenGL headers are located (or elsewhere in the standard include path, where it will be visible) and voila.
For more detailed explanation, consult the readme.html file in the root folder of the GLFW source package.
