Hello, I have been mucking around with game programming nog for a few years and really haven't done anything productive, except for working on an engine. Now I want to start 3D programming, and I have an idea for a 3D simulation type game. I want it to take place in a futuristic city environment. I was wondering what techniques would I need to study to be able to render a city env? Also, can anyone point me to some good beginner tutorials on how to store, manipulate and render objects, and player characters in a 3D env? Thank you for the advice Michael PS: I'll be using OpenGL for the rendering [edited by - mrhodes on March 26, 2004 8:09:09 AM]
