Client->Close() let crash server

The following code that close the client let crash the server. Any idea why? if( my_client) { HRESULT hr = 0; while(hr != S_OK) { hr = my_client->CancelAsyncOperation(NULL, DPNCANCEL_ALL_OPERATIONS); Sleep(1); } my_client->Close(0); my_client->Release(); my_client = 0; Seems as the server still get messaages or what?
