I''m having a problem with glut and fullscreen mode. Problem is that the task bar keeps appearing. Is there a command call nessary to hide the taskbar? Also, I was looking at the setcursor command and I can''t seem to find a way to specifiy a custom cursour to use. If I have my own versions of the standard cursors in the program directory will they replace the windows standard ones? ----------------------------------------------------- Writer, Programer, Cook, I''m a Jack of all Trades Current Design project: Ambitions Slave

The best way to hide the task bar using GLUT is to use the game mode (glutEnterGameMode). This function allows you to choose the resolution and bits per pixel of the screen. You''ll have to write this:

Once finished you can restore the previous video mode with:

You can also use glutFullScreen() instead of using game mode, but you will better performance in game mode due to Windows priority reasons.

I hope you find it useful.
