How would i go about creating a quasirandom generator function compatible with CG? I would like to use the float or half (16 bit int) data types since they are compatible with all profiles. --===LITHIC===-- --===WWW.Decimation.TK===--

I''ve seen two ways to generate random numbers in shaders: 1. use the expp instruction, and 2. use a texture map.
