multitexture extension?

how is this used with VBO''s?? with: glTexCoordPointer as i want to sets of uv''s when i render my model, so texture 1 goes in the first set, texture 2 goes on the second... and i assume setting some blend operation works with the 2 textures on the same multitextured model?

Call glClientActiveTexture with the texture unit you want the following call(s) to glTexCoordPointer to affect. How the textures are merged is determined by the glTexEnv related states. ARB_texture_env_combine extends the customizability of texture merging. The blending function determines how that product is merged with the frame buffer, as it normally would.
