here is my problem.im writing my program in the colour depth of 16bit per pixel.because i havent got a painter program to make 16bit picture,all my bitmaps are 24 bit and have to be converted manually into 16 bit.when i apply transparecy on those bitmap,only black can be filtered,since black is (0,0,0)in rgb.for example,if i want to get rid of white which is (255,255,255),i cant.can some one give me some advice please?thanks in advance.

btw,the rgb convert in my program is like this

#define _RGB16BIT555(r,g,b) ((b & 31) + ((g & 31) << 5) + ((r & 31) << 10))
#define _RGB16BIT565(r,g,b) ((b & 31) + ((g & 63) << 5) + ((r & 31) << 11))
