Just thought I toss that out in case anyone hasn''t tried The GIMP in a while. I haven''t played with it yet, but I did fire it up and visually it looks a lot better. The tabbed interface sounds interesting as well, and it''s the first release to be officially supported on Windows and Mac. ==================================== The worst thing about mistakes is explaining it to my wife.

Very nice indeed - the new windowing scheme makes it a lot easier to find the panel you''re looking for and adding the right-click menu to the main window as a menubar is a *great* improvement.

But damn is it a resource hog! My 700MHz/256MB computer really strains under the load.
