I need to texture map a quad in my application. I have the screen set up in 2D using ::glOrtho(). In this setup can texture mapping not be displayed, as it seems to work fine with ::gluPerspective() Id really appreciate any help, Keith

Texturing works fine regardless of the projection mode you are using. Ortho is just a different projection matrix and frustum configuration.

First check to see if you can see the object without textures. If it''s not there, then the problem is something else.

Yeah I can see the objects fine, but they will not show the texture map on them.

Its really starting to wreck my head

if the objects are showing up as black quads first try disabling lighting and (if that works) create and position a light such that your quads' normals are facing it (if you want lighting).
