Could anyone tell how i can compile asm code with SSE/SSE2 instructions? a link to compiler would be appreciated.

And by "write the instruction yourself" he means use the __emit pseudoinstruction to emit the opcodes and operands literally. Using a macro can make this somewhat more sane.

Masm (and newer versions of Tasm and Nasm I guess also) supports extended instruction sets

The version that comes with VC7.1 has support for it, and SP5 with the Processor pack adds support for it in VC6

if you use a custom build step with masm (as in full asm files, not inline assembly), you need to use the ''.xmm'' directive for sse and sse2 instructions
