plz introduce some good books about OpenGL and GameDev !
Just go to nehe.gamedev.net for OpenGL things. Why get ebooks when you can find tutorials.
If you don't have teh money try coming up with it somehow...there's always a way you can get some money, mow some lawns or something...If you are too lazy like me then you can try an inexpensive way like learning online for instance, but you don't need to pirate anything. Just follow NeHe's tutorial you will find most of the stuff you need there...

You want a good book about OpenGL and Gamedev you say? I might know of something remotely like that...
"Beginning OpenGL Game Programming" (2004) and "OpenGL Game Programming" (2002) [glbook.gamedev.net] by Dave "Myopic Rhino" Astle and Kevin "Khawk" Hawkins

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 2 books?
I have the "opengl game programming" book and was wondering if the new book is an update or will benefit anyone that has the first book?
Well reading the TOC of new book it looks like it''s shorter and doesn''t cover as much for one thing?
Can anyone confirm?
p.s. you asking why I''m wondering about new book vs old one?
I''m hoping new book is more concise and goes faster cuz to tell truth opengl game programming book put me to sleep after about ch 5 cuz it goes over so much math and other necessary stuff before you even get to start making any fun stuff. Hey that''s my experience anyways I guess I have a short attention span ok.

I really need to update the website for the new book, since I can tell this question is going to come up a lot.
The new book started out as an update of the old one. However, our publisher said they also needed an OpenGL book for their new Beginning series, so we decided to split the update into two separate books. The first one (Beginning OpenGL Game Programming) is an update of the first 13 or so chapters in OpenGL Game Programming. We''ve added quite a bit of new material (I''d say over 30-40% of the book is completely new), updated everything, greatly reduced the amount of code listed in the book, removed the math primer (there are good books devoted entirely to that, and besides, we include the original chapter on the CD), removed everything in the Windows chapter except the OpenGL-specific stuff (same reasoning), and corrected a lot of mistakes.
If you''ve already read OpenGL Game Programming, whether or not you''ll benefit from it is debatable. But the book retails for $30 (I think it''s around $20 on Amazon), so you''re not risking much.
We just started work on the second book (tentatively called Advanced OpenGL Game Programming) but it''s going to take a while to write.
