[Not sure is this belongs in Isometric Games, Art, or even Lounge.] In Europe there are commercials for a corporation called Areva. They use an Isometric Tile looking art style to show how they turn uranium to electriity for you and me. It makes me want to play SimCity. Anyway, they have the ad and animations on their website. A similar animation style can be found in Royksopp''s video for "Remind Me." The video can be found on their page. So I did some research, and apparently the same animation house is responsible for both videos. Here is a moderately interesting article on them. Then a search on one of the founders, Ludovic Houplain, showed that he is actually speaking at GDconf2004. Did anyone attend the talk? Are there transcripts available? Any thoughts on the animations? Cheers!
