Transparency without ordering?

How can I fix this http://www.kuenzle-family.ch/philippe/particles.jpg or this http://www.kuenzle-family.ch/philippe/tree.jpg In case of the tree... those are triangles on which I have a bmp of a tree. for the particle system. I have seen the one on nehe.gamedev.net... And he doesn''t have particles erasing another and they are all one over the other! Thanks

I am leaving that post for any @#$%$#@ moron like me that might ask this question...
Put a glDisable(GL_DEPTH_TEST) before drawing the object
and put glEnable(GL_DEPTH_TEST) after it...
that solves it for the particle engine....
