sending a SDL_Surface over the net..

Well I''m thinking of a concept of a game, and if I do decide on doing it, I''ll most likely do it in SDL.. What it is that I''m wondering is that there''ll be 3 people over the net connected to each other, 2 of them will send 1 image and recieve 1 image, while the other will recieve 2 images, I''m just wondering how practical it would be to have each of the machines just send the entire image data to one another?

How practical it is depends on how often you plan on doing it, how large the images are, and what the minimum network connection you plan to support is.
