Hi I need some source code or at least some tutorials for game effects using DirectX. I''ve searched a lot of places, and have also downloaded near 400 MB of source code, but I still nead more, please tell me everything you know. Thanks...

What sorts of effects were you thinking of? "Effect" is a very broad term.

Even the very best graphics programmers don''t know "every kind"...

Oh, and you may be best off in the "Graphics Programming and Theory" section; the search tool is invaluable - it has solved almost all my questions before. whack in "water effect" and you''ll get all the material, all the discussion, and all the links you ever need.

the best water effect ive found on the internet is prbably this one here, its primarily in OpenGL but it could be easily converted to DirectX
