Up vector

this must be really basic but i''ve been having problems with this all day: is the up vector in relation with the origin or the target vector (for cameras)

The UP vector is whatever direction is up relative to the camera. For example, if using Left Hand Coordinates and the EYE vector is (0, 0, 0) and the look-at vector is (0,0,10). The Up vector could be (0,1,0), which would act as if we are standing upright. If the UP vector is (0,-1,0) that means we''re upside down. If its (1,0,0) that means we''re sideways! make sure the UP vector is a unit vector.
