Trouble with alpha

i''m always been able to get alpha to work before but it wont work now for some reason I''ve done thw following device.RenderState.AlphaBlendEnable = True device.RenderState.AlphaSourceBlend = Blend.SourceAlpha device.RenderState.AlphaDestinationBlend = Blend.InvSourceAlpha is there anything i''m forgetting...? btw i''m using PositionedColoredTextured Verticies with no texture and verticies with different alpha diffuse colors

You probably want just SourceBlend and DestBlend, not AlphaSourceBlend and AlphaDestBlend. The latter are new DX9 states that allow you to control how the frame buffer''s alpha value is calculated rather than the color.
