I can't find the DX8 or 9 downloads of just the libs, headers and docs

I''ve tried downloading that massive 160mb sdk over my 56k connection nine times now, and every times it crashes before it finished. Even Getright couldn''t salvage the downloads, so I need to find out where I can download the smaller version of the sdk without all of the examples and Visual Basic stuff.
I will upload those files into my FTP, I compressed it to rar archive, witch is about 6 mb in size (I know it''s still huge for 56k, but that''s the best I can do.)

No, this isn''t allowed. And what''s more, by doing this you will not have the debug runtime which is an incredibly valuable resource.
