Problems rotation vector

I''m having trouble getting my vector math correct here. I have a ship from which I can get its position, direction, and up vector. Assuming the model is facing <0, 0, 1> if it''s at the origin and not rotated, I want to rotate it so it''s facing its direction vector. How would I do this? I''m using a left handed coordinate system. Thanks. -Nick
