script problem

ok guys i am running a server and i have wrote a script to change dirand run the game just by running the script but for some reason it is not changing dir in the first place here is the script #! /bin/sh cd /home/hlserver/Dogs1 screen -dmS Dogs1 ./mohaa_loop.sh with this script i get bad interpreter and no such file so i got rid of all the stuff and did a script just to change dir and same thing happened is there somethink im missing in my linux install please remember this is a remote server and i only have putty to access it i know all the dir and file permissions are ok as set to 755 files and 777 dir hiope you can help

there is no space between them and still no joy
