Triple buffering In directx?

I am trying to build a 2d engine using directx 7. I understand how to make a double buffer. But I would like to impliment a triple buffer. Now I know it won''t work al the time if I ran out of ram. And then directx will revert to double buffering. But I would still like to give it a try.

And you want to know how to do it? Or do you just want our blessing?

If you want to know how, are you using Direct3D 7 or DirectDraw?
