drawSubset question

I am trying to work in the animated mesh code from the directx SDK to my terrain engine and I''m having some trouble. In the rendering code, various render states are set then drawsubset is called. The mesh displays and animates properly, but everything rendered afterward has what looks like messed up texture coordinates. I figured I needed to unset some of the render state changes made in the process, but that didn''t help. Whats odd is if I simply comment out the drawSubset() call, the mesh doesn''t render (as expected) but everything afterward renders properly. My main question is does drawSubset() make any render state changes itself, or has anyone had similar problems? If so, how do I find out what they are so I can unset them? Jason

It could be using an other FVF, with a different format/size.
Try setting your original back after rendering, might just be your problem...
