Compiling DirectX 9.0 application in C++ Builder 6.0

I''m having a series of problems trying to compile a DirectX 9.0 app in C++ Builder 6.0. The linker doesn''t resolve external dependences (.LIB files) and I already converted them with the COFF2OMF utility but still doesn''t work. Someone there can give me an advice? Thanks.
